Neuroplasticity refers to your brain’s ability to adapt to change when you alter the brain’s functional and structural properties. In other words, when you do a workout that has you rapidly switch up active and rest periods in a short amount of time, you are training your brain on how to quickly adapt to change.

To perform a HIIT workout, you don’t need any additional exercise equipment making it perfect to practice at home. You don’t even need to learn any new forms of exercise. A HIIT workout can be performed using whatever your preferred method of exercise is, whether it’s resistance training, yoga or cardio activities. The difference is, HIIT requires you to perform these exercises using your maximum energy for a couple minutes and then switch to a few seconds of rest before practicing the exercise at maximum energy again. This type of training only takes 20 to 25 minutes. The workout time might seem short, but if you are doing HIIT right you will really feel its results.
