Lower back pain is not a great feeling, but, as mentioned in our previous blog, it is treatable. If you have just started feeling pain in your lower back, there are multiple treatment options. Below are some products that you can use to help ease lower back pain:
Relief Pak® ColdSpot™ Cold Packs
You do not need a medical degree to use a cold pack. Simply place the cold pack in your freezer and once it is chilled you can apply it to areas of your body where you experience pain. You can do this with any of our Relief Pak® ColdSpot™ products. Specifically, for back pain we recommend that you choose either a standard or oversized pack. The standard pack will fit on your entire lower or upper back while the oversized one will help if you are experiencing pain in your entire back. Our ColdSpot™ products are re-usable and can maintain their therapeutic temperature level for up to thirty minutes before you need to place it back in the freezer again.
CanDo® Twist-n’ Bend® Exercisers
Surprisingly, our CanDo® Twist-n-Bend® exercisers are not just for exercising. They can also be used as a body-massager. The ridges found along the side of the product can provide a massage like effect. All you need to do is find a partner who is willing to roll the Twist-n-Bend® along your back. Massaging your back can reduce pain in your back muscles and make you feel great. For an even greater effect, you can place the Twist-n-Bend® in the freezer and wait for it to get cold before using it. This cold Twist-n-Bend® will act as an ice pack and a massager all in one.
CanDo® Back Stretcher
Another product we recommend is the CanDo® Back Stretcher. This product is designed to correct posture and stretch your back muscles by mimicking the natural curve of your spine. Just simply lie back on the back stretcher to stretch your back and improve your posture.
Lower back pain can be uncomfortable, but you don’t have to power through it without treatment. There are various home remedies that can help if you are experiencing lower back pain. Please know that these treatment options can only help mild back pain. If your pain does get worse or won’t go away, please see a doctor immediately.
