PR cushion
The PR cushion is intended primarily for use with wheelchairs. The cushion is made up of a ridged tray, shaped to accommodate the buttocks and thighs while creating the maximum pressure relief on bony prominences.
The Pressure distribution is created by a layer of gel on top of a layer of foam and is encased in an envelope of vinyl with a Vantek Recovery 5 cover. The pressure in the pad is controlled by a unique air valve to allow the support pressure to be varied.
This allows the patients to maximize their support comfort.
PR II cushion
Pressure reducing cushion that is cost effective, lightweight and designed for long life. Available in two interface and pressure reduction materials: Recovery 5 (blue) and SO Fleece III (black). Features non-migrating, pressure reducing Gel Medex™ layer inside.
