The Gel-Medex™ wheelchair cushion is engineered to reduce body interface pressure at critical points for a wide range of body shapes, sizes and weights. Gel-Medex™ layer is non-migrating, non-aqueous and non-toxic. Patient comfort is enhanced through a combination of specialized top and base layers, providing the kind of support and comfort traditionally found only in the more expensive wheelchair cushions.

Gel-Medex™ wheelchair cushions are available in high quality cover material for interface pressure reduction: Recovery5™. This lightweight cover is made of soft, highly stretchable material to ensure comfort and protection from moisture. Its stretch and low-friction backing also reduce lateral shear. Compliant with “E” codes established by CMS. High density foam meets CAL TB 117. Other sizes available upon request.
