Air Stirrup® Ankle Brace from Aircast®

Since 1978, the Aircast Air-Stirrup Ankle Brace has been the "standard of care" for the functional management of ankle injuries and has been cited in over 100 medical journals for its superior performance in helping to heal ankle injuries.

Each Aircast Ankle Brace features anatomically designed shells lined with the patented Duplex™ aircell system. This exclusive system incorporates two pre-inflated overlapping aircells, distal and proximal, that provide support and produce graduated compression during ambulation. The compression promotes efficient edema reduction in addition to helping accelerate rehabilitation.

Sport-Stirrup® Ankle Brace from Aircast®

Designed to help prevent ankle injuries, the Sport-Stirrup is based on the Air-Stirrup ankle brace but has a narrower design for less bulk in a sneaker or shoe.

The Sport-Stirrup has anatomically designed shells that prevent inversion/eversion. Each shell is lined with the patented Duplex™ aircell system. This exclusive system incorporates two pre-inflated overlapping aircells, distal and proximal, that provide support and protection during ambulation.

The Leg Brace is designed to provide functional management of stress fractures and the graduated management of certain stable fractures of the lower leg.

The Leg Brace features anatomically designed shells lined with the patented Duplex™ aircell system. This exclusive system incorporates two pre-inflated overlapping aircells, distal and proximal, that provide support and produce graduated compression during ambulation. The compression promotes efficient edema reduction in addition to helping accelerate rehabilitation.

The Leg Brace can be ordered alone or with an optional Anterior Panel for additional tibial protection.

A sock is included with each brace.

The Ankle Sprain Care Kit is a complete system for the functional management of an ankle sprain. It includes the Air-Stirrup Ankle Brace, an ankle wrap, cold pack, exercise band, and a video plus booklet showing instructions for treatment and rehabilitation. With clear and simple-to-follow steps, the kit ensures that the patient receives a complete and thorough understanding of the proper care of their injury, saving the practitioner time and reducing overall costs. While initially used for the acute stages of a sprain, the Ankle Sprain Care Kit is also suitable for chronic instability. The instruction video and booklet adhere to standards for patient education as identified by JCAHO.
